L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
Lead The Way, Lead the Way
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
Lead The Way, Lead the Way
A leader’s courageous
A leader is brave
A leader’s a dreamer
Who guides the way
A leader is helpful
A leader is strong
A leader is special
Knows right from wrong
A leader’s supportive
A leader is kind
A leader may lead from the front or behind
They make the change they want to see
They speak with truth and integrity
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
Lead The Way, Lead the Way
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
Lead The Way, Lead the Way
It’s not always easy to take the lead
It’s not always easy to do what’s right
It’s not always easy to put others’ first
But when we do – our hearts ignite.
Yeah!
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
Lead the Way, Lead the Way
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
Lead The Way, Lead the Way
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
That’s the way we see ourselves
L – E – A – D – E – R – S
We Lead the Way
We Lead the Way
We Lead the Way

You’ve got voices
So raise them
You see problems
You change them
Raise your voices…
Hi, I’m Rebecca Solomon from Pix 11 News.
Joining me now:”
Jolie
The Masterminds behind Voices to End Hunger
Scarlett
I’m Jolie Rose Wasserman
And I’m Scarlett Diviney
And together we are Voices to End Hunger
Raise your voices
You have a heart of gold
And you are my hero
Together we are better we are stronger than alone
You saw all those hungry children
And you heard that so many were dyin’
We Knew that we could do something, couldn’t wait for Tomorrow
So we started singing songs
Started collecting funds
We raised our voices for a cause
Hey Girls!
Jenn!
You’ve got voices
So raise them (raise them)
You see problems
You change them (change them)
You see hunger and devastation
So you raise them
Raise your voices…
We’ve got voices
We raise them (raise them)
We see problems
We change them (change them)
We see hunger and devastation
So we raise them!
Raise our voices…
I try to put myself in their shoes
Imagine life without enough food
Don’t know what I would do.
We’ve given kids in homeless shelters blankets, clothes, and socks during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
I want to bring comfort and joy
I want to help all those girls and boys
So I’m gonna lift up my voice…
And make some noise!
What inspired you ladies to use cabaret as a way to help those less fortunate?
The hunger Crisis in New York City has increased over 40%
You’ve got Voices
So raise them (raise them)
We’ve got voices
We raise them (raise them)
We see problems
We change them (change them)
We see hunger and devastation
So we raise them!
Raise our voices…
We’ve got voices
We raise them (raise them)
We see problems
We change them (change them)
We see hunger and devastation
So we raise them!
Raise our voices…
We’ve got voices
We raise them (raise them)
We see problems
We change them (change them)
We see hunger and devastation
So we raise them!
Raise our voices…

Lemonade

My momma taught me when I was young
You gotta give when you’ve got some…thing
And other people, they’ve got none
My momma showed me when I was young
You gotta stand up when others aren’t strong enough
And all those people, they could use some love
But then she needed support herself
Then she needed someone else
I was small, but I knew how I could help
I stood up
I made lemonade
Out of the lemons that laid
in front of me
I helped my family
Oh, I stood up
I made lemonade
To help the others who needed
Care like my mother did
I made lemonade
And I stood up
Even though I was just a kid
So now my momma is feeling better
But I’m still out there being a helper
‘cause there’s so much need out there
Oh I show up cause someone has to
Yeah I bring help to all those who
need a hand
We all could use a hand
I’ve made blankets, Packed Lunches
Baked cookies, passed out kits
I’ve helped seniors, and I’ve tutored
I’ll be your good steward!
I stand up
I make lemonade
Out of these lemons that lay
in front of me
I help my community
Oh, I stand up
I make lemonade
And help the others who need
Care like my mother did
I make lemonade
And I stand up
Even though I’m just a kid
My momma showed me when I was young
You gotta stand up when others aren’t strong enough
And all those people, they could use some love

Like a ball of light
Like a bird in flight
I’ll come to you with love
Riding on my bike
Because I know it’s right
I’ll come to you with love
Tell me what you need
Tell me anything
And I’ll come to you with love
It’s a heavy world
And I’m just a little girl
But I’ll come to you with love
I saw you lying there alone
I saw you there without a home
Just the clothes on your back
To keep you warm
I want to make a change
To make sure you’re safe
And I want you to know
That you’re not alone
Like a lotus flower
In the troubled water
I am just a daughter
And a problem solver
I’m a heart wide open
I will be a good friend
And I will love you.
“Can I just give hug?!”
Like a ball of light
Like a bird in flight
I’ll come to you with love
Riding on my bike
Because I know it’s right
I’ll come to you with love
Tell me what you need
Tell me anything
And I’ll come to you with love
It’s a heavy world
And I’m just a little girl
But I can come to you with love!
With Love!

Skip The Plastic Straw
03:27
|
|||
The oceans are swimming in plastic
And we’ve gotta find a way
Our Underwater World is dying
So, we gotta make a change
Doesn’t matter if you’re young or old
Doesn’t matter if don’t live on a coast
It’s time to take the pledge and say
“I will skip the plastic straw today”
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
We are fighting for our future
We are fighting for our lives
We know that we’re all connected
And we all want to survive
It may feel like there is no solution
Like there’s no way to reverse what’s been done
Just start small, take the pledge, and say
“I will skip the plastic straw today”
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
It started as a school assignment
It started as a started as a passion project
It started when we grasped the impact
Of humans on our ocean planet
(REPEAT)
The oceans are swimming in plastic
And we’ve gotta find a way
Our Underwater World is Dying…
It may feel like there is no solution
Like there’s no way to reverse what’s been done
So, start small, take the pledge, and say
“I will skip the plastic straw today”
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Skip the plastic straw today
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
If it helps to keep our oceans safe
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I will skip the plastic straw today

Snap
Clap
Snap, Snap!
Clap
(3 TIMES)
Snap, Snap!
Clap, Clap
I knew from the minute that I saw you, that we’d be friends
Not much in common on the outside
but I jumped right in
We may have different backgrounds
And different skin
But where it really matters
Is found deep within
You communicate a little bit differently
You move your body a little bit differently
Your brain works just a little bit differently
But you laugh and dance just like me!
Snap
Clap
Snap, Snap!
Oh – if the world could see us Through My Eyes
Then the world would finally realize
Being different makes us Stronger
Gives us power, gives us armor
If the world could see us Through My Eyes
Then the world would finally realize
There is nothing I can’t do
Because I am friends with you
Snap
Clap
Snap, Snap!
Clap
Snap, Snap!
Clap, Clap
SP VERSE
Clap
Snap
Clap Clap
Snap
See I just Did that
Reversed in back
It’s still in tacked
And that’s a fact
See, differences don’t have to throw us off track.
Like – You and I, we been friends for a long time.
Been thru so much
You know it’s been a long climb
But we made it
Now we’re better together
No need to guess,
We are best friends forever
You communicate a little bit differently
You move your body a little bit differently
Your brain works just a little bit differently
But you laugh and dance just like me!
Oh!
Snap
Clap
Snap, Snap!
Clap
(3 TIMES)
Snap, Snap!
Clap, Clap
Oh – if the world could see us Through My Eyes
Then the world would finally realize
Being different makes us Stronger
Gives us power, gives us armor
If the world could see us Through My Eyes
Then the world would finally realize
There is nothing I can’t do
Because I am friends with you
I am grateful that you are my best friend
You’re my ally, my shoulder to lean on
You shine brighter than anyone else can
I’m so lucky that you are my best friend
I am grateful that you are my best friend
You’re my ally, my shoulder to lean on
You shine brighter than anyone else can
I’m so lucky that you are my best friend

Grow (Keep It Alive)
03:21
|
|||
Oh! that feeling, that feeling inside!
Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky
Oh that feeling, that feeling inside
Gonna let it grow, gotta keep it alive
Get your hands dirty, get your heart right
Get your friends ready, we will feast tonight
Step into my garden, step into my world
I will give this harvest, all this life unfurled
I want to share this love
I want to share this food
I want to give cause it feels good
Oh! that feeling, that feeling inside!
Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky
Oh that feeling, that feeling inside
Gonna let it grow, gotta keep it alive!
There will be plenty, no-matter where you’re from
With my arms wide open, I will fill you up
Passed down from my mother, her grandfather too
I will tend this land, as long as you need me to
I’m gonna share this love
I’m gonna share this food
I’m gonna give ‘cause it feels good!
Oh! that feeling, that feeling inside!
Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky
Oh that feeling, that feeling inside
Gonna let it grow, gotta keep it alive!
Sometimes life is hard for me too
Sometimes I don’t know what to say or what to do
But kneeling on the earth
Elbow-deep in dirt
I know there’s only one path to choose:
I’m gonna show up for you!
Oh! that feeling, that feeling inside!
Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky
Oh! that feeling, that feeling inside!
Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky
Oh that feeling, that feeling inside
Gonna let it grow
Gonna let it grow
Gonna let it grow
Gotta keep it alive

I’ve never thought about helping others
I’ve never thought about changing the world
But then I saw kids making a difference
So I thought I could make a difference, too
Maybe I can feed a hungry person
Maybe I can plant trees in the park
Maybe I can help kitties in the shelters
Maybe I can make a difference, too
I think the world is a pretty good place
I’m happy with my life, not much I would change
But when I start to think
Of all the things that need
To be fixed and cleaned, I see….
It’s not all about me.
It’s not all about me
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow,
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow,
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow,
Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow,
I never knew a kid could have an impact
I never knew a kid could raise their voice
I never knew a kid could really make a difference
But now I know…
Now I know….
We Can Make a Difference!
We Can Make a Difference!
We Can Make a Difference!
We can Make a Difference, too.

There is darkness
There is pain
(But you can count) on the rainbow
After the rain
Might feel hopeless
Might feel small
But daylight is brightest
When you’re standing tall
Don’t you try to hide who you are
Who you are inside
Don’t you let them steal your
Steal Your…
Don’t let them steal your light
We are so beautiful
We know just who we are
We are resilient
We’re brilliant
We’re loved
We are so beautiful
We are original
No one else like us
We’re perfect
We’re enough
We are so beautiful
There may be voices
In your head
And there may be monsters
Under your bed
But Don’t be afraid
Don’t feel alone
‘Cause there’s an Army at your back
Filling hearts with hope
We are so beautiful
We know just who we are
We are resilient
We’re brilliant
We’re loved
We are so beautiful
We are original
No one else like us
We’re perfect
We’re enough
We are so beautiful
Don’t you try to hide who you are
Who you are inside
Cause’ I’m gonna stand up for you
And fight by your side
We are so beautiful
You are so beautiful
I am so beautiful
We are so beautiful

La, La, La (X2)
In the dust of the morning
In the mist of the dawn
You keep your eyes
On the horizon
See the majesty before it’s gone
In the splendor of the wild
In the wonder of it all
You keep your eyes
On the Horizon
And find something beautiful
Too many lost by human greed
Too many lost senselessly
You say there’s a way to change it
You say there’s a WAYS to go
But you say it’s up…up to us all
You say: “Kids Can Save Animals!”
Let’s Go!
La, La, La…
Kids Can Save Animals
La, La, La…
Each day countless are dying
Every hour there’s one less more
So, you keep your eyes
On the horizon
‘Cause you know what you’re fighting for…yeah!
You say there’s a way to change it
You say there’s a WAYS to go
But you say it’s up…up to us all
You say: “Kids Can Save Animals!”
Let’s Go!
La, La, La…
Kids Can Save Animals
La, La, La…
G | Am | F
It’s hard to breathe
Every 15 minutes and elephant is killed for its tusks
When you start to think
There are only 2 Northern White rhinos left on the planet
About these innocent beasts
Animals can’t speak for themselves, but we can be their voice
And how they’re almost extinct…
Kids Can Save Animals
..there’s a way we can change it
You say there’s a WAYS to go
But you say it’s up…up to us all
You say: “Kids Can Save Animals!”
You say there’s a way to change it
You say there’s a WAYS to go
But you say it’s up…up to us all
Kids Can Save Animals
Let’s Go!
La, La, La…
Kids Can Save Animals
La, La, La…

You want justice, you want change (We want change)
You may be scared, but you know the way
You may be scared, but you are brave
(We Are brave)

They know there’s so many mouths to feed
They know there’s so many oceans to clean
They know it’s time to stand and sing!
Listen listen, listen, listen
To the children, to the children
