What inspired you ladies to use cabaret as a way to help those less fortunate? My momma taught me when I was young You gotta give when you’ve got some…thing And other people, they’ve got none My momma showed me when I was young You gotta stand up when others aren’t strong enough And all those people, they could use some love But then she needed support herself Then she needed someone else I was small, but I knew how I could help I stood up I made lemonade Out of the lemons that laid in front of me I helped my family Oh, I stood up I made lemonade To help the others who needed Care like my mother did I made lemonade And I stood up Even though I was just a kid So now my momma is feeling better But I’m still out there being a helper ‘cause there’s so much need out there Oh I show up cause someone has to Yeah I bring help to all those who need a hand We all could use a hand I’ve made blankets, Packed Lunches Baked cookies, passed out kits I’ve helped seniors, and I’ve tutored I’ll be your good steward! I stand up I make lemonade Out of these lemons that lay in front of me I help my community Oh, I stand up I make lemonade And help the others who need Care like my mother did I make lemonade And I stand up Even though I’m just a kid My momma showed me when I was young You gotta stand up when others aren’t strong enough And all those people, they could use some love

Like a ball of light Like a bird in flight I’ll come to you with love Riding on my bike Because I know it’s right I’ll come to you with love Tell me what you need Tell me anything And I’ll come to you with love It’s a heavy world And I’m just a little girl But I’ll come to you with love I saw you lying there alone I saw you there without a home Just the clothes on your back To keep you warm I want to make a change To make sure you’re safe And I want you to know That you’re not alone Like a lotus flower In the troubled water I am just a daughter And a problem solver I’m a heart wide open I will be a good friend And I will love you. “Can I just give hug?!” Like a ball of light Like a bird in flight I’ll come to you with love Riding on my bike Because I know it’s right I’ll come to you with love Tell me what you need Tell me anything And I’ll come to you with love It’s a heavy world And I’m just a little girl But I can come to you with love! With Love!

The oceans are swimming in plastic And we’ve gotta find a way Our Underwater World is dying So, we gotta make a change Doesn’t matter if you’re young or old Doesn’t matter if don’t live on a coast It’s time to take the pledge and say “I will skip the plastic straw today” Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh We are fighting for our future We are fighting for our lives We know that we’re all connected And we all want to survive It may feel like there is no solution Like there’s no way to reverse what’s been done Just start small, take the pledge, and say “I will skip the plastic straw today” Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh It started as a school assignment It started as a started as a passion project It started when we grasped the impact Of humans on our ocean planet (REPEAT) The oceans are swimming in plastic And we’ve gotta find a way Our Underwater World is Dying… It may feel like there is no solution Like there’s no way to reverse what’s been done So, start small, take the pledge, and say “I will skip the plastic straw today” Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Skip the plastic straw today Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh If it helps to keep our oceans safe Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh I will skip the plastic straw today

Snap Clap Snap, Snap! Clap (3 TIMES) Snap, Snap! Clap, Clap I knew from the minute that I saw you, that we’d be friends Not much in common on the outside but I jumped right in We may have different backgrounds And different skin But where it really matters Is found deep within You communicate a little bit differently You move your body a little bit differently Your brain works just a little bit differently But you laugh and dance just like me! Snap Clap Snap, Snap! Oh – if the world could see us Through My Eyes Then the world would finally realize Being different makes us Stronger Gives us power, gives us armor If the world could see us Through My Eyes Then the world would finally realize There is nothing I can’t do Because I am friends with you Snap Clap Snap, Snap! Clap Snap, Snap! Clap, Clap SP VERSE Clap Snap Clap Clap Snap See I just Did that Reversed in back It’s still in tacked And that’s a fact See, differences don’t have to throw us off track. Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky Oh that feeling, that feeling inside Gonna let it grow, gotta keep it alive! There will be plenty, no-matter where you’re from With my arms wide open, I will fill you up Passed down from my mother, her grandfather too I will tend this land, as long as you need me to I’m gonna share this love I’m gonna share this food I’m gonna give ‘cause it feels good! Oh! that feeling, that feeling inside! Oh! that feeling, let it shoot towards the sky Oh that feeling, that feeling inside Gonna let it grow, gotta keep it alive! I’ve never thought about helping others I’ve never thought about changing the world But then I saw kids making a difference So I thought I could make a difference, too Maybe I can feed a hungry person Maybe I can plant trees in the park Maybe I can help kitties in the shelters Maybe I can make a difference, too I think the world is a pretty good place I’m happy with my life, not much I would change But when I start to think Of all the things that need To be fixed and cleaned, I see…. It’s not all about me. It’s not all about me Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow, Meow Meow, I never knew a kid could have an impact I never knew a kid could raise their voice I never knew a kid could really make a difference But now I know… Now I know…. We Can Make a Difference! We Can Make a Difference! We Can Make a Difference! We can Make a Difference, too.

La, La, La (X2) In the dust of the morning In the mist of the dawn You keep your eyes On the horizon See the majesty before it’s gone In the splendor of the wild In the wonder of it all You keep your eyes On the Horizon And find something beautiful Too many lost by human greed Too many lost senselessly You say there’s a way to change it You say there’s a WAYS to go But you say it’s up…up to us all You say: “Kids Can Save Animals!” Let’s Go! La, La, La… Kids Can Save Animals La, La, La… Each day countless are dying Every hour there’s one less more So, you keep your eyes On the horizon ‘Cause you know what you’re fighting for…yeah! You say there’s a way to change it You say there’s a WAYS to go But you say it’s up…up to us all You say: “Kids Can Save Animals!” Let’s Go! La, La, La… Kids Can Save Animals La, La, La… G | Am | F It’s hard to breathe Every 15 minutes and elephant is killed for its tusks When you start to think There are only 2 Northern White rhinos left on the planet About these innocent beasts Animals can’t speak for themselves, but we can be their voice And how they’re almost extinct… Kids Can Save Animals ..there’s a way we can change it You say there’s a WAYS to go But you say it’s up…up to us all You say: “Kids Can Save Animals!” You say there’s a way to change it You say there’s a WAYS to go But you say it’s up…up to us all Kids Can Save Animals Let’s Go! La, La, La… Kids Can Save Animals La, La, La…
