"Raise Your Voices (Songs Celebrating the Kids Who Are Changing the World" is an inspiring collection of new music by Jenn Hartmann Luck, featuring songs celebrating the real kids from across the country who are making the world a better place. Themes on the album range from helping the fight against hunger, anti-bullying, cancer research, animal conservation, to keeping the oceans clean and were inspired by interviews with kids who have done something in their community (or world!) to give back and make a difference. A percentage of every song on the album supports a charity chosen by the young people themselves. Thank you for supporting The RAISE YOUR VOICES Project!

about
This song was inspired by Lucy Luck, an 8 year-old who wasn't so sure she knew how she wanted to help other when I asked her. But after seeing all the amazing other kids on this record who are making a huge impact in their communities - she decided that she could make a difference too. And that she wanted to help Kitties in the shelter! It's a great song celebrating all the things kids CAN DO to make an impact. Featuring Oh Antonio & His Imaginary Friends. 15% of song purchases support: Austin Pets Alive!
lyrics
I’ve never thought about helping others
I’ve never thought about changing the world
But then I saw kids making a difference
So I thought I could make a difference, too
Maybe I can feed a hungry person
Maybe I can plant trees in the park
Maybe I can help kitties in the shelters
Maybe I can make a difference, too
I think the world is a pretty good place
I’m happy with my life, not much I would change
But when I start to think
Of all the things that need
To be fixed and cleaned, I see….
It’s not all about me.
It’s not all about me
I never knew a kid could have an impact
I never knew a kid could raise their voice
I never knew a kid could really make a difference
But now I know…
Now I know….
We Can Make a Difference!
We Can Make a Difference!
We Can Make a Difference!
We can Make a Difference, too.
