"Raise Your Voices (Songs Celebrating the Kids Who Are Changing the World" is an inspiring collection of new music by Jenn Hartmann Luck, featuring songs celebrating the real kids from across the country who are making the world a better place. Themes on the album range from helping the fight against hunger, anti-bullying, cancer research, animal conservation, to keeping the oceans clean and were inspired by interviews with kids who have done something in their community (or world!) to give back and make a difference. A percentage of every song on the album supports a charity chosen by the young people themselves. Thank you for supporting The RAISE YOUR VOICES Project!

about

This song was inspired by Ashley Nevison and her "Monster Bully" Book Series, a collection of books celebrating our differences and advocating for acceptance of others over bullying. The song features vocals by Echo Deva Picone and supports Ashley's own nonprofit, Sargeant's Army.

lyrics

There is darkness
There is pain
(But you can count) on the rainbow
After the rain

Might feel hopeless
Might feel small
But daylight is brightest
When you’re standing tall

Don’t you try to hide who you are
Who you are inside
Don’t you let them steal your
Steal Your…
Don’t let them steal your light

We are so beautiful
We know just who we are
We are resilient
We’re brilliant
We’re loved

We are so beautiful
We are original
No one else like us
We’re perfect
We’re enough
We are so beautiful

There may be voices
In your head
And there may be monsters
Under your bed

But Don’t be afraid
Don’t feel alone
‘Cause there’s an Army at your back
Filling hearts with hope

We are so beautiful
We know just who we are
We are resilient
We’re brilliant
We’re loved

We are so beautiful
We are original
No one else like us
We’re perfect
We’re enough
We are so beautiful

Don’t you try to hide who you are
Who you are inside
Cause’ I’m gonna stand up for you
And fight by your side

We are so beautiful
You are so beautiful
I am so beautiful
We are so beautiful
